Becky Burtick - Director/Teacher
Mrs. Burtick graduated from Seton Hill University with a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences/Childcare Administration. She also has certifications in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She most recently completed course work for the Director’s Credential at Point Park University. Mrs. Weiler worked for Point Park University’s Children’s School for 8 years, teaching in the Preschool and Pre-K classrooms. Prior to working at Point Park, she taught Kindergarten for 3 years at a private school in Monroeville. Mrs. Weiler lives in Monroeville with her family. She has been with MUM Preschool since 2011. She is currently teaching the 3 year old classes.
Julie Proskin - Teacher

Mrs. Proskin is the mother of three children who has been working with children professionally for over 15 years. Mrs. Proskin has excelled at studying Elementary Education at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown as well as Carlow University, with 3 ½ years of study completed. Previously, Mrs. Proskin was a full-time teacher at an Early Childhood Development Center for 3 years before she decided to be a Stay-at home Mom. In addition, Mrs. Proskin is dedicated to children in the classroom, she is actively involved in her children’s school’s PTA at Center Elementary. Furthermore, she has served on the board of the Plum Midget Football Association. She also enjoys crafts, scrapbooking, swimming, and spending time with her husband and her three children. Her favorite color is yellow. Mrs. Proskin is currently teaching in the 2 year old and 4 year old classrooms.
Jennifer Lehman - Sub/Aide
Mrs. Lehman has been with MUM since 2017. She has been a stay-at-home mom for many years. She is a mother of 3 boys and 1 girl, all of which attended MUM Preschool. She is actively involved in her children's schools as a homeroom parent and as a board member for both Gateway Baseball and Wrestling Boosters. She lives with her husband and children in Monroeville.
Vicki Kelsey - Aide
Ms. Kelsey is a mother of 5 children. She has identical twin daughters and 3 sons. Ms. Kelsey graduated with an Associates Degree in Human Resources and Graphic Communications. She has been a stay-at-home mom and has worked as a Human Resource Manager. She would like to continue her education and one day work with special needs children. She volunteers at her children's schools as either a homeroom mom or classroom aide. Ms. Kelsey has also volunteered for her children's PTO. She looks forward to working with the children at MUM, aiding in the yellow room along with the red room.
Jessica Benson - Aide
Mrs. Benson and family moved to PA from California in August of 2018. She is married and has 4 kids. She has been a stay at home mom and family/medical care taker.
She loves to volunteer and has taught children and youth at church for the past several years. Mrs. Benson is very excited to aide in the 4 year old and 2 year old classes.
Diane Scheer - Aide

Mrs. Scheer is a mom of four. She has 2 daughters in their twenties and 2 teenage boys. She earned a bachelor's degree from Duquesne University in Elementary and Special Education. Mrs. Scheer taught for 8 years at Highlands School District, 6 years in learning support and 2 years in reading. She then became a stay-at home Mom. After her youngest started kindergarten, she wanted to become involved in teaching again. She has been a substitute teacher for Holy Family, Penn Hills, Plum and Mums Preschool. Mrs. Scheer will be aiding in the 3 year old classroom.
Julie Teixeira - Teacher
Mrs. Teixeira moved from California to Monroeville in 2016. Before moving to Monroeville, she taught students from elementary school to college. She has a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Master’s in English and ESL. She has 2 kids who are former MUM students and has worked as a substitute teacher in the Gateway School District. She enjoys doing crafts with her kids, going on nature walks and reading. She is currently teaching the 4-year-old half day class.
